Erskine’s Chick Days, 2025
It’s time to pre-order baby chickens! Whether you’re choosing chickens for the color of their feathers or the color of their eggs, we have some very pretty chickens on the way. In addition to chickens Erskine’s will have Turkeys, Guineas, Quail, Ducks and Broiler Chickens.
Honeybees
We’re excited to offer four different breeds of honeybee for 2025; Italians, Russian Hybrids, Carniolans and, NEW! Caucasians. Pickup date is April 19. Early ordering is encouraged!
Seed Potatoes
Erskine’s will have seed potatoes in many different colors and shapes to liven up your pantry. Fingerlings or storage; pre-order now before they sell out!
Onions & Shallots
As always, this spring Erskine’s will have Red and Yellow onion sets. Onion plants, or seedlings are offered in 3 varieties. New for us this year – Shallots!
Strawberries, Asparagus, Rhubarb and Sweet Potatoes
Live, bare-root plants/crowns/slips for pre-order! We have June-bearing or Everbearing strawberry crowns for sweet treats, and no Vermont garden is complete without an asparagus and rhubarb patch. Did you know sweet potatoes can be successfully grown in Vermont?
